Over the last ten years the School of Foreign Languages of Huanghuai University congratulates you, and I believe you can combine all of your collective perseverance to improve your lives with excellent results. After a warm summer, there is a golden autumn. May we meet each other on the beautiful campus of Huanghuai University and get to know each other as a big family, the School of Foreign Languages.

 

Introduction

The School of Foreign Languages has a long history and a solid foundation in various disciplines and majors. It is one of the earliest departments in our university. There are currently three undergraduate majors in English, Business English, and Translation. The school has currently 859 ordinary full-time students, 16 modern language labs, internship training bases and simultaneous interpretation rooms.

 

Faculty

The school has 75 teachers, including 14 professors and associate professors, 2 doctorates, 3 PhD candidates, 53 masters, 15 dual-qualified teachers, 4 foreign teachers, 2 with the honor of academic leaders from the Provincial Department of Education, and 1 with the title of top talent of Zhumadian.

 

Learning Outcome
The school is committed to cultivating applied foreign language talents with an international perspective with emphasis on solid basic language skills in strong foreign language listening and speaking skills, the comprehensive development of knowledge, and individual ability and personality. Persistence in the integration of classes, posts, certificates, and competitions, and implementing the "Foreign Language + Major" talent training model. There are currently 12 off-campus internship training bases.

Graduates can work in foreign affairs, tourism, economics and trade, education, culture and other enterprises and institutions to do work relating with translation, management, business, teaching, and research.

3. Business English

Career Prospectus

Graduates can work in foreign economics and trade, foreign investment, tourism, foreign affairs and other enterprises and institutions to do various domestic and foreign business related task, management programs and services, translation, and foreign-related secretarial work.
