Introduction to School of International Education

International Education School undertakes the teaching and management of Sino-foreign cooperation programs in Accounting, Software Engineering, Computer Application Technology, etc., and is also responsible for the teaching and management of international students. The School jointly organized undergraduate cooperative education programs in Accounting with Swansea University in the UK, Software Engineering and Computer Application Technology in cooperation with University of Mysore in India, and Accounting degree level cooperative education program with Bangor University in England. More than one third of the courses of the cooperative program are taught in foreign languages by the teachers selected by the cooperative university, which realizes the complementary advantages of China and foreign countries and the integration of Chinese and Western cultures, forms the school running characteristics of "open, international and application-oriented", and cultivates a large number of international applied talents.

 

Faculty

The School has an international, diversified and professional teaching team, including more than 50 foreign teachers, 3 specially appointed professors, more than 30 part-time enterprise experts, more than 40 doctors and masters with overseas learning experience, and more than 50% of them are double qualified teachers.

The School has nearly 20 laboratories for software design, software development, network engineering, accounting simulation, e-commerce, etc., and has built CDIO experimental teaching demonstration center for municipal software engineering and school software engineering, and ACCA qualification certification computer test center. It has also set up enterprises and institutions such as Beijing Smart Podcast, Smart Tour Group, Tedu, Sichuan Huadi, Oracle, Neusoft, PICC, YiXuan Finance, etc More than 20 training bases have been established.

 

Teaching, Learning and Research

Teachers and student teams majoring in Software Engineering and Accounting have won different level of prizes in national, provincial and municipal competitions for many times. In terms of innovation and entrepreneurship, Pan Yong, Wang Yiying, Yang Yanhui, Hou Yangyang, Zhang Jiagan and other outstanding graduates started their own businesses. Among them, Wang Yiying was selected as one of the top 10 annual "looking for 2015 college students' entrepreneurial heroes" cosponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the National Association of Students; Pan Yong was awarded the honorary title of "the First College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Model of Henan Province", and Yuan Binbin was selected as the top 100 National College Students' Entrepreneurship hero in 2018. Zhang Jiguang has been working for postdoctoral research.

1. Accounting (Sino-foreign cooperation programme)

The module is characterized by the integration of undergraduate education with international vocational education, the combination of domestic academic education and international academic education, and the integration of foreign university courses, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) qualification certification courses into the curriculum system of accounting major. The courses are taught by foreign experts and industry experts.

 

Career Prospectus

Graduates can be competent in Accounting and related position in industrial and commercial enterprises, financial enterprises, intermediary agencies, government agencies, public institutions and other relevant departments.

Degree Specialty

1. Accounting

This module is jointly developed by HHU and the University of Bangor int the UK. and the core courses are taught in English by foreign experts. University of Bangor recognizes that the credits obtained by the students in our university meet the requirements. Students can continue to study for bachelor's or master's degrees from the British cooperative university.

 

Career Prospectus

Graduates can be engaged in cashier, accounting, auditing and other related work in enterprises and institutions.

 

2. Computer Application Technology

This module is jointly developed by HHU and University of Mysore in India, and the core courses are taught in English by foreign experts. UOM recognizes the credits obtained by students in our university. Students can continue to study in UOM for bachelor's or master's degrees after graduation.

 

Career Prospectus

Graduates are mainly engaged in software design, software coding, software testing, software maintenance, documentation, software marketing services and software production management in enterprises and institutions.
