The Zhumadian Science and Technology Bureau recently announced the “Notice on the 2023 Zhumadian Major Science and Technology Projects and Key Research and Development Projects” and the “Notice on the 2023 Zhumadian Science and Technology Innovation Youth Projects.” Huanghuai University secured funding for 30 projects, marking a significant achievement in both the number of projects and funding received. The University was awarded three major science and technology projects, seven key research and development projects, and twenty youth projects, totaling 5.2 million yuan in funding.

The Zhumadian Major Science and Technology Projects, Key Research and Development Projects, and Science and Technology Innovation Youth Projects are research initiatives established by the Zhumadian Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government. These programs aim to implement innovation-driven development, promote the city’s growth through science and education, and strengthen its talent pool. They represent a strategic commitment to accelerating innovation and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the industrial and innovation chains. In recent years, the Zhumadian Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have demonstrated strong support for scientific and technological innovation. They have allocated special research funding to prioritize basic research, talent team development, the construction and operation of basic scientific research infrastructure, and advancements in management and operational mechanisms.

In recent years, the university has been proactively collaborating with local leading enterprises to establish joint research and development platforms. We are committed to supporting the economic and social development of the region through scientific and technological advancements. By strengthening communication and cooperation with relevant provincial and municipal science and technology departments, we have expanded the channels for securing scientific research projects and funding. These efforts have effectively stimulated the creativity and innovation of our researchers, fostering the rapid development of scientific research at the university. The Scientific Research Department will continue to cultivate a favorable research environment, enhance the quality of research support services, and propel the university’s scientific endeavors to new heights.
