On May 10th, in the online charity cloud live broadcast ‘Believe in the Future’, Shao Shuai (Jie You Shao Shuai), a student of HHU, performed You Are the Tender Month of April to pay tribute to medical workers in the battle of fighting COVID-19. With passion and dream, the song conveys the responsibility of the students and to say thank you to everyone making great efforts on work resumption. 

‘Believe in the Future’ online concert was co-sponsored by Gao Xiaosong, co-hosted by Bai Yansong, Hua Shao, and Wang Han and jointly launched by Alibaba, Tencent, NetEase, Weibo, and other major music platforms. With ‘Combat Anxiety, Return Daily’ as a keynote, it gathered hundreds of Chinese musicians to call on people to strengthen their confidence and overcome the difficulties together by music. 

Early in 2018, as a sophomore majoring in labor and social security, Shao Shuai once ranked No.1 on the Netease cloud music chart for his song ‘Written to Huanghuai’. In order to help Shao Shuai realize his dreams as a musician, HHU established a personal music studio in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park, invited professional teachers to help him, encouraged him to hold a 24-city music tour. In the 2019 Forbes Elite List, Shao Shuai has successfully ranked among the nation's elites under the age of 30, becoming a budding newcomer in the music industry. Shao Shuai has successively published music works such as ‘South Wind and North Lane’, ‘The Boy Is Still Here’, ‘You Are My Dream’ and ‘Zhumadian West’. 

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19, we all experienced in the war of epidemic. Shao Shuai carefully observed all aspects of society from different perspectives, and contributed his own strength to fight the epidemic through his music. When the online concert was launched, Shao Shuai actively participated in the united anti-epidemic charity performance, and sang his representative work ‘You Are the Tender Month of April’ affectionately and eloquently. He paid tribute to those who have been on the front line fighting the epidemic.
