President of Huanghuai University Tan Zhen Awarded with “The Outstanding Figure in Chinese Innovative Development of Integration of Industry and Education”

Co-launched by All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and Phoenix Satellite Television, co-hosted by Phoenix Education and Overseas Chinese Charity Foundation of China (OCCFC), 2017-2018 Conference of Chinese Educators “Focusing On China” was held in Beijing in the afternoon of April 10. President of our university Tan Zhen was invited to attend the conference, accept the exclusive interview of Phoenix Satellite Television, and was finally awarded with “The Outstanding Figure in Chinese Innovative Development of Integration of Industry and Education”.

 Well-known educators, scholars, governmental leaders, ambassadors, representatives of universities and top education investors  from all over the world came to the conference and shared the achievements led by reforms of Chinese Education. The conference first discussed about the topics such as “Building the First-Class Universities with Distinctive Features,””“ Integrating and Promoting Education with Capitals,”“ Internationalized Education Contributes to the Sustainable Development,” New Changes about Education under the influence of the Internet” etc. According to the experience of running our university, President Tan Zhen shared her ideas and thoughts with many experts. Then the first group of Chinese excellent educators who came from different fields was selected and the research white paper of “Integration of Digital Creative Industry and Education” was published.

In recent years, our university holds onto the belief of reform and innovation and constantly promotes the transformational development of the university. We have played a leading role in integration of industry and education, school-enterprises cooperation and education of student innovation and entrepreneurship.  The awards obtained and the interviews accepted by President Tan Zhen, again, was a prove of the social recognition of our university’s development. It further enhanced the influence and the reputation of our university.
