Recently, the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education issued a letter on the publication of the list of the winners of the first batch of 2017 production and education cooperative education projects supported by the enterprises ( the letter of the higher education [2017] 37), in which our university won five of them. These projects are “big data technology and application workshop” project hosted by Professor Yao Ruxian from Information Engineering Department and Lan Ou Technology Co., Ltd., “internet engineering innovation and entrepreneurship course teaching resources construction” project hosted by Professor Yu Dingchen and Wuxi Zhongke Zhiku Networking Research institute Co., Ltd., “innovation and business base construction” project hosted by Associate Professor Zhang Desheng and Shenzhen Xunfang Technology Co., Ltd., “school-enterprise collaborative education curriculum system reform in software engineering department ” project hosted by Dr. Wu Haitao from international college and Neuedu education and information technology Co., Ltd., and “media and art curriculum reform” project hosted by teacher Dong Qingtao from Art and design institute and NASDAQ:TEDU Co., Ltd..

The approval of these projects from “production and education cooperative education” project of the Ministry of Education provides a good opportunity to further consolidate our university’s cooperation with enterprises, generates an effective impact on the reform of personnel training programs, innovative curriculum system, strengthening the students’ practical ability, and enhancement of their innovative abilities, and offers practical conditions for our university’s reform of innovative talents’ training mode, improving the undergraduate teaching level, and the constructions of an application-oriented university with distinctive characteristics.
