December 16 to 17,2016, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Branch annual conference of the Chinese Higher Education Association was held at Northeastern University. Huanghuai University won two awards,and achieved a new breakthrough in innovation and entrepreneurship education. Lecturer Chen Rui with deep theoretical skills from International Education College stood out in the competition of in many colleges and universities talents access to third prize on national higher education innovation education course "A Wonderful Lesson" , and invited to do the exchange show. Lecturer Yin Hong Tan was awarded the title of  "annual advanced individual of national higher education entrepreneurship " .

In recent years, Huanghuai University attaches great importance to innovation and entrepreneurship education, and achieved positive results. Huanghuai University has been awarded ta series of titles of "China University Student Demonstration Base on Innovation and Enterprise Production and Research Cooperation ", "National-level Public Creation Space", "National-level Science and Technology Enterprise Incubator", "2016 National Innovation Experience Model University", "Henan University Student Entrepreneur Demonstration Base" , "Science and Technology Business Incubator in Henan Province", "University Students KAB Entrepreneurship Education Base" and "Advanced Units to Promote Volkswagen Entrepreneurship".
