President Tan Zhen and Vice President Wang Dongyun met with the delegation in the reception room of the complex building. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on deepening the cooperation between the two universities. Teachers form International Office, International and Education College attended the meeting.

First of all, Tan Zhen extended a warm welcome to the delegation, talked about the good memory of a pleasant visit to University of Swansea in 2008, and praised Swansea University for its excellent teaching facilities and beautiful campus environment. She said that in the next three years, Swansea University will celebrate the centennial celebration, in which she congratulated the University of Swansea achievements. Subsequently, Ms.Tan Zhen introduced the recent development of HHU. HHU  was chosen as the Ministry of Education Applied Technology University of strategic reform pilot schools, it has made fruitful results in cultivation talents with practical skills. scientific research, local economic and social development services. HHU was named as the national science and technology business incubator, national public space, and other four national level platform. At the same time, the school adhere to Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, introduces foreign educational resources with high quality, strengthen the quality assurance construction, accelerate the reform of education and teaching. Since 2014, the school successfully hosted three international forum, which have had a positive impact at home and abroad. As a young undergraduate University, HHU had a rapid development. Thanks to the work of its staff and its partner University. Huanghuai University and Swansea University has many aspects in common, the two universities have a good foundation for cooperation, the two sides can further expand the areas of cooperation.

Mr. Huw Morris briefed the new campus of Swansea University and the international cooperation and exchange. He said that Swansea University has talent and facilities advantages in innovation and entrepreneurship training, and hopes to deepen cooperation between the two universities and further expand cooperation in teaching and scientific research.

The two sides also discussed and reached consensus on the revision of accounting professional training programs, project quality control, teacher training, student exchanges, students' innovative and creative education, and signed relevant legal documents.

During the visit, the delegation paid a visit to the library, the International Education College, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park, the Gymnasium, the International Student Residence and the Foreign Experts' Apartment. The delegation appreciated the rapid development of the university and praised the hard working students.
