President Tan Zhen Delivers Welcoming Speech and Calls for Push Foward the Education Internationalization Progress of Henan Province together.

January 13, 2017.The forth directors meeting of The Sixth Council and annual conference by Henan Education Association for International Exchange was held in Huanghuai University. Totally 164 standing directors and directors from 77 member units attended the conference including Zhengzhou University, Henan University, Henan Polytechnic University, Henan University of Technology, Henan University of Science and Technology, Henan Agricultural University, Henan Normal University, North China University of Water Conservancy and Electricity, Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Henan University of Economics and Law, Zhengzhou Institute of Light Industry, Zhengzhou University of Aeronautics and Zhongyuan University of Technology and other member units.

The conference was co-chaired by Secretary-General Sun Wei, and Chen Zhaowu, Deputy Director of The Education Department of Henan Province. 

President Tan Zhen of Huanghuai University, vice president Wang Dongyun attended the conference to congratulate.Tan Zhen delivered the welcoming speech. Firstly,Tan Zhen introduced to the delegates the achievements made by our university in the transition and construction of applied technology university in recent years, and made an introduction to the guests in the fields of foreign exchange and cooperation, Sino-foreign cooperative education projects, and innovative and creative education. Tan Zhen showed the list of the achievement mady by Huanghuai University in the year 2015 and 2016,such as International Cooperation Education was included the first batch of "Key University was selected the first batch of "China and the United States applied technology education double hundred cooperation plan” "Sino-Indian International School of Software Engineering" in cooperation with Mysore University of India, also included in “One Belt One Road Education Action Plan"by Henan Provincial Government; The Sino-foreign cooperative education in Huanghuai University has formed a good situation of multi-linkage, resource sharing, Complement each other, win-win development. Tan Zhen also expressed her thanks for Henan Education Association for International Exchange as the international exchange platform of the province's education frontier. Tan Zhen pointed Henan Education Association has played an active role in promoting the exchanges and cooperation between domestic and foreign universities. Tan Zhen concluded by saying that through joint efforts and mutual learning among the various institutions, the conference will surely achieve the goal of exchanging experiences, deepening cooperation and friendship, and sharing fruitful results of international cooperation and exchanges.

During the conference, Chen Zhaowu, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of Henan Provincial Education Bureau, made a report on the work of educational foreign affairs and gave guidance on quality projects of Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools under the new situation.Executive vice president of the Association Du Jianhui made a financial report about Association. Sun Wei, Deputy Secretary-General of the Association considered and explained the new member units and some of the Association executive directors. Vice President Wang Dongyun from Huanghuai University made a special report on the University innovation and entrepreneurship education to delegates.

The conference also invited the British Council for Culture and Education, representatives of foreign institutions and institutions to introduce the curriculum cooperation and study abroad programs.
