The Delegation of International Exchange Office of Tongmyong University in South Korea Visited Huanghuai University

April 27th-28th, Chairman Dr.Young-Yeol, Choo of International Exchange Office Tongmyong University in South Korea and his delegation paid a visit to Huanghuai University. Geng Hongqin, Vice President of Huanghuai University met visiting guests. Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Dean of School International Education, and the CPC Secretary from Animation School attended this meeting.

Geng Hongqin expressed her warm welcome to the guests and congratulated the two sides on carrying out the undergraduate education cooperation program. Geng Hongqin said since its foundation, our university firmly grasps the local, international, open, and application-oriented development orientation, and actively carries out Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools. Through the introduction and absorption of foreign quality education resources, Huanghuai University enhances the quality of teaching and education, meanwhile, and pushes forward education reform by introducing foreign quality education resources. Geng Hongqin said that in recent years, the Korean animation industry has gained a rapid development, and as the representative of the higher institutions in professional animation education and training, Tongmyong University has made remarkable achievements in business incubation, science and technology research. Geng Hongqin hopes the two sides can achieve a smooth and effective further cooperation in the project expansion, teacher-student exchanges, and joint research. Geng Hongqin also sent an invitation to attend the fourth International Forum on Industry and Education held in HHU.

Dr. Young-Yeol expressed gratitude for the warm reception, and admired for the achievements made in the fields of Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools, innovation and entrepreneurship education by HHU in recent years. Dr.Young-Yeol said that China and South Korea have close exchanges and communication in the fields of economy, trade, education and humanities. Tongmyong University has been committed to promoting cooperation and development with Chinese higher institutions. Dr.Young-Yeol hopes that the two sides need to strengthen the personnel exchanges and promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields.

 During the visit, the two sides also conducted in-depth discussions on the training of professional cooperation programs, teaching and curriculum management, Korean language teaching, teacher dispatch, teacher exchange and degree pursuing, management and communication mechanism and finally reached a consensus. Dr.Young-Yeol also visited Animation School, International Education School, School of Art and Design, Information Engineering School Library, Students Innovation Park, two-dimensional and three-dimensional animation experimental equipment.
